Now the question is: what caused this dramatic shift, how does it affect the quality of education within our school district and its reputation, and what can be done about it? In a district where there seems to be a lack of economic and educational capital amongst a large percentage of the student population, social capital must become the backbone of our schools.

Our goal is to identify the myths that keep middle-class families from enrolling their children in the public schools and shed light on the real Arc experience. Together, with the help of our community, we can help change perceptions.
